About the job:
In the role of embedded software developer at LioniX International, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the embedded software in the electronic control systems that transform our photonic chips into turn-key solutions for our customers. These systems include large-scale driver systems, thermal management, and real-time data analysis. You will be a part of the Optical Design & Electronics team, and work on systems used for lasers, quantum computing, RGB light engines and lidar.
Your role in the team:
- You collaborate with project leaders and electrical engineers to gather specifications for the software.
- You work together with electronic engineers on projects to which you add your individual contribution.
- You enjoy multitasking and working within a team and are good at priority-setting.
- You are eager to help others both with time as well as knowledge.
- You contribute to a positive team environment through developing and proliferating best known methods.
Your profile:
- You are available for 32 – 40 hours a week.
- You have a BSc/MSc degree in Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 5 years’ experience in an equivalent role.
- You have knowledge of C++ (Python, C# and/or Linux is a plus).
- You have experience with Git, embedded systems and microcontrollers, such as the AVR, STM32, or ARM Cortex-M platform.
- You are familiar with object-oriented programming.
